BREED TRAINING —–every Monday night 7pm onwards.

Our training classes are held on Monday nights at Liverpool and St Helens RFC. Moss lane, Windle St Helens, Merseyside

WA11 7PL.

At training nights we try to provide a warm friendly atmosphere where every dog irrespective of quality or ownership gets the same level of attention.

Training is usually overseen by one of the committee but all members are encouraged to help each other. Guest trainers are provided whenever possible.

Club information

BGSDTC holds a breed show in July every year. Championship shows are held based upon the KC rotation system. At these shows we normally appoint one S.V. Judge and one British judge.

Open shows are held in the alternate years usually with a foreign judge.

BGSDTC obedience holds annual CC status and is one of the most anticipated and respected of shows.

Over the past two years we have managed to combine both our open and championship shows producing a full weekend of competition. Ie Open show on the Saturday and Championship show on the Sunday.

This year the format attracted approximately 1000 entries.

Many areas are still under construction and will be added to or updated over the coming months. The intention is not only to promote the club and its members but also to provide interesting and informative articles about the GSD for all to read.

Competition
Obedience

We have a small group of obedience competitors who train to the highest of standards. Ray and Karen Wakelin are our very experienced trainers and are their to guide others through their routines.

PET OBEDIENCE

We are currently seeking a new trainer to structure some classes for those who just wish to have their dog trained in the basics.
We will keep you informed as to when these classes will commence.
